Our focus on comfort and finish led us to fine domestic sewing; single needle stitching and
characteristic details such as European darts and split yoke.
By applying thin interlining to the collar band which snaps into shape when tied, we have
achieved a casual outfit with a natural feel to it.

BACKGROUND

Northern Sky Inc., throughout its long business experience, continuously searching for better
products from every part of the world, finally found that Japan has excellent advantages in
garment manufacturing. Thereafter, it has decided to launch the world’s most polite shirts
suitable for any circumstances, believing that the politeness to be the Japanese virtue.

Our collections are carefully made with artisanal technique by factories each specializing in their
own field, from villages across Japan. Just to name a few; ties are made in Nishijin-Kyoto famous
for Japanese traditional woven Kimono fabrics, shirts are made in Kojima-Okayama famous for
Japanese denims and indigo fabrics, knit wears are made in Osaka famous for high technique knitting machine,
and more. Shirts, our signature item, are beautifully and proudly sewn with the craftsmanship
where they usually manufacture high-end men’s shirts for luxury brands.

ALL ABOUT IRONING A DRESS SHIRT

We recommend every dress shirt to be washed at home.
Wash as naturally as possible. No special detergent is necessary.
Taking good care of a dress shirt gives unique shirt experiences to everybody.

    Straighten out and hang shirt to dry
    right away after washing.
    Stretch wrinkles around seams. No starch.

    Use a spray to wet the entire surface.

  3. 03

    Remove larger wrinkles with your hands
    before ironing.

  4. 04

    Iron shirts starting from smaller parts; collar,
    yoke and cuff. Wet again if necessary.
    Finally, iron larger parts such as
    the front and back body.

  5. 05

    Press collar inward from both sides
    toward the center. Press around
    the button with the tip of the iron.
    Steam the placket from the inside out.
